I think their services is quite bad. Before & after sales is so diff.. They nv take good care of yr gown de and give u a" surprise" when u go collect.they like to give alot excuses also..Wedding preparation was stressful yet they adding plbm.. So I strongly feel that a good bridal shop shld let the customer feel happy wi their service and not collect $ already & never make their promise.

My HTB and I visited the roadshow at Suntec last weekend. This lady from Thomson Wedding was very pushy. After explaining the package, we told her we will consider cos we want to take a look at other studios. She said even if we walk finish the whole roadshow, all the prices are the same but they are better cos they have been around for very long and very experienced.
Den she got a photographer to show his works and we got pretty impatient cos we already said we want to look around. She was like trying to buy more time by asking the photographer to come and psycho us to sign up with them.
The package quoted to us was $3399 and i feel she purposely jack higher cos she knows we need it pretty urgently cos AD is in March 2012. When we say we will consider, she keep asking how much we want to pay den she will check with the boss.
In the end, the lady like finally realize she cannot psycho us den her face and attitude change super fast. I left feeling so pissed! Now after reading this forum, i was glad i did not sign up with them.

i sign up with thomson for a bridal package that they throw in free ROM package for us as well since my AD & dinner is on different days. like most, i guess, we didn't have much chance to look around other bridals & sign on to thomson. in fact a bit regretted the high charges after signing.
my ROM was held in Nov, everything went well, except that im supposed to go down for final fitting 2 days before, but when i reach, they told me that they have yet to alter but need to get the tailor to measure me personally. so i came down 2 days before just to get measured. which i certainly wasn't very please about but didn't mention anything.
on the day of ROM i did my make up at the bridal itself. MUA is Shermine. Find her overall not too bad. believe she is a freelance MUA as well. gown didn't fit very well at the bust around. but i guess theres nothing much & no time to do more alteration & hence I just leave it as it is.
went down yesterday to choose our gowns and we have a change of coordinator to Linnie (I guess?). I find her very experience. After taking my measurement she tell me what kind of gown is more suitable for me and the 1st gown we try on is really beautiful. but decide to try 1 more & with just 2 gown, we decided. Same goes for the other 5 gowns/dress for the photoshot. it's all decided within 2-3 tries & we really love the gowns she choose.
our photoshot will be next month & can't wait for that day & see the pix in march/april!

aiyo..so many negative feedback...abit worry...
I did my photoshoot in February and had gone for the raw photo selection about 2 weeks back.
We love the photoshoot & the photographer, Dawn. She is really experience. I had a boy who is 2.5 year old and she even manage to convince him to coorperate and take some nice pix with us.
We have top up 25 pix on top of the 35 pix given in the package. Michelle ain't exactly pushy. She did try to push a bit but we stood quite firm on our grounds and she stop after that. So I guess not so bad on that part.
Now waiting for the design of the album to b out in April.

I signed mine with TWC for slightly more than $3K. found it quite ex, as no AD PG, VG and car included. My friends all told me, norm is at least to have bridal car included.
I went to the Tanjong Pagar branch for gown selection, indoor quite a bit of choice. But not for evening gowns, very little selection. Anyone tried going to do gown selection at the Thomson branch? Are there more choices?
I was adviced one ampoule costs $50!! What is the norm price?
